This position will report to the Estimating Manager with the Flynn Facades Division.

A Day in the Life

• Prepare takeoffs/estimates for assigned jobs.
• Visit job sites.
• Assist Production and Contract Management with preparations for prices -extras or credits.
• Liaison with building owners and consultants.
• All other duties assigned.
• Review all contracts and accepted quotations.
• Prepare work orders and handoff meetings.
• Prepare and follow-up on quotations and tenders, including attending post-bid meetings.
• Consult, communicate, and build rapport with internal departments.
• Order Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds, Agreements to Bonds, Tender deposits, Letters of Reference, CCDC Documents.
• Attend pre-tender site meetings to prepare an accurate estimate.

What We Are Seeking

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Completion of an Architectural Technology Diploma, Estimating Certificate or education in a related field.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• 3-5 years’ work experience in an Estimating position; previous experience in the Glazing Industry required.

$50,000 - $70,000 a year
