POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is involved in the specialty leasing for the properties across Ontario and Canada as well. We are looking for an individual with a curiosity for real estate, motivation to learn and grow with the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with leasing team on implementing specialty leasing.
- Manage the specialty leasing database
- Lead the temporary leasing of Retail Merchandising Units.
- Generate ancillary revenue through specialty leasing related to units on a short term or temporary basis.
- Prepare, negotiate, and execute binding license agreements with temporary tenants.
- Identify start-up and independent retailers/ entrepreneurs and incubate them within a specialty leasing program.
- Report on critical metrics related to the specialty leasing (e.g., budgeting, forecasting).
- Assist the leasing team with marketing efforts directly related to leasing activities.
- Serve as first point of contact with temporary tenants.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Aptitude for figures, analysis, and budget preparation.
- Present a first-class vision for the property to existing and prospective tenants.
- Understanding of Property Management is an asset.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with no supervision.
- Ability to generate new sales and revenue strategies.
- A great communicator who must be able to work and communicate with a variety of diversified cultures and business owners.
- Prior temporary leasing and marketing experience is preferred.
- Comfortable with cold-calling and networking within the business community.
