POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role is involved in the specialty leasing for the properties across Ontario and Canada as well. We are looking for an individual with a curiosity for real estate, motivation to learn and grow with the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with leasing team on implementing specialty leasing.
• Manage the specialty leasing database
• Lead the temporary leasing of Retail Merchandising Units.
• Generate ancillary revenue through specialty leasing related to units on a short term or temporary basis.
• Prepare, negotiate, and execute binding license agreements with temporary tenants.
• Identify start-up and independent retailers/ entrepreneurs and incubate them within a specialty leasing program.
• Report on critical metrics related to the specialty leasing (e.g., budgeting, forecasting).
• Assist the leasing team with marketing efforts directly related to leasing activities.
• Serve as first point of contact with temporary tenants.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Aptitude for figures, analysis, and budget preparation.
• Present a first-class vision for the property to existing and prospective tenants.
• Understanding of Property Management is an asset.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with no supervision.
• Ability to generate new sales and revenue strategies.
• A great communicator who must be able to work and communicate with a variety of diversified cultures and business owners.
• Prior temporary leasing and marketing experience is preferred.
• Comfortable with cold-calling and networking within the business community.
