Reports to: Senior Manager, Development & Investments

Summary:

We are seeking a driven and collaborative Investment & Development Coordinator to assist in the planning and execution of new development projects throughout the GMA. This opportunity provides exposure to the entire development cycle and decision-making process of a growing project portfolio. Responsibilities:

• Work with the Investments & Development team to coordinate professional and consultant teams on active projects;
• Assist the Investments and Development team in the analysis of real estate opportunities;
• Examine potential uses for future assets through benchmarking and evaluation of comparable projects;
• Research zoning specifications and surrounding environments of assets;
• Assist in evaluating the business strategy and tenant mixes for existing assets;
• Provide analytical support to determine the financial feasibility of a project through the preparation of development proformas;
• Perform market research on asset classes.
• Accumulate market information to help inform the developmental direction for each asset;
• Analyze lease documents and all other material required for due diligence (such as environmental reports, building condition assessments, etc..) including the validation of financial parameters and summaries;

Qualifications:

• Dynamic, curious, and self-motivated;
• Moderate proficiencies in financial analysis;
• Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are necessary;
• Be a collaborative team player with a strong ability to interface with multiple teams;
• Possess good business acumen;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent personal organization and detail oriented;
• Bachelor’s degree in business;
