Controller / Accountant Jobs

• Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners
• Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual
• Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings & collections, payroll and manage the books of number of companies and resulting inter-company loans and balance
• Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
• Collaborate with executive team to make efficient and effective firm-wide operation possible
• Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis and work with the year end Accountants.
• Research, plan and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed
• Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts
• Prepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and handle daily cash management

Education

• Minimum 5-10+ years in bookkeeping/accounting
• Accounting designation is not required
• University degree in Finance or Accounting
• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks Online
