ABOUT THE JOB:

What are you applying for?

This is a central and dynamic position as you will provide technical and functional support for the complex

financial applications. You will have an opportunity to interact and partner with global development and

application support teams in New York, Chicago, Montreal, Paris, Sydney, London, Bangalore and Hong

Kong.

Great communication, social skills and knowledge of ITIL best practices are essential as you will be

responsible for managing and maintaining our applications.

What will be your day-to-day?

✓You will develop applications to automate manual operational tasks as well as build custom real-

time monitoring tools and reports.

✓You will be responsible for applications used by traders, sales and middle office on the trading floor.

➢Software releases, configuration and support of all production system components and

infrastructure.

➢Support and maintain software applications, build systems, own related processes and

deliver frequent releases with high quality.

✓You will troubleshoot technical or functional issues in a complex financial environment to provide

timely resolution, with various applications and platforms that are global.

✓You will work closely with traders, sales, supports and quants.

✓You will gain in-depth exposure to both the business and technology aspects of equity & derivatives

business.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

What does it take to get the job?

We've learned that when our support team understands the technology our products are built with, we

provide better support.

That's why we require our support team member to demonstrate a very basic level of coding ability.

To qualify for the role, you must be able to write a SQL query and pass a basic Coding game challenge in

whatever technology you are familiar with.

In addition, it is a plus if you have:

• At least 2 years in an Application Support / DevOps support position

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent job experience

• Track record of delivering continual improvements & automations

• Ability to read code and develop intermediate-level scripts and programs to support complex

applications

• Ability to work with APIs and write programs to develop or call existing APIs

• You are comfortable working on UNIX / Linux (Shell Scripting, etc.) and Windows environments

(Power shell, Batch, etc.)

• You have experience working with relational and no-relational databases

Bonus skills:

• Programming background in scripting language (TCL, Perl, Python, etc.)

• Understanding of the Agile and Continuous delivery.

• Deep understanding of the Agile and Continuous delivery (CI/CD, Jenkins, docker, kubernetes, etc.)

• Understanding RabbitMQ
