Overview
As a Contract Administrator, you will be working as part of a large team to support the day-to-day functions of the organization. Responsibilities
- Provide support as required to other CA team members
- Maintain internal information management database
- Provide second line administrative support to employees (policies, procedures, timesheets, invoices, and travel/expense claims)
- Provide administrative support to Contract Managers
- Provide back-up for other CA team members when they are absent to ensure uninterrupted customer service to Calian's direct workforce
- Review contract documentation and identify any discrepancies to the appropriate authority
- Prepare all internal contract documentation and Generate various reports and analyse data, as required
- Provide support as required with any process improvement initiatives
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Customer Service or Administration role, preferably within an SAP environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Proficiency in French is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail combined with focus on deadlines and ability to drive things to completion.
- Experience in dealings with Government Contracts or working knowledge of applicable Crown contract policies & practices would be an asset;
- Intermediate knowledge using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Self-starter who thrives in high-paced environment and works with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, team-player who looks for win-win solutions and provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers;
- Openness to new ideas, sound decision making and independent thinking.
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, HR or equivalent combination of education and experience
