Consortium Staffing Solutions is a recruitment company based in Toronto that is looking for an experienced Computer Assembler to join our client's team in Woodbridge. Location: Woodbridge, ON

Job type: Full-time Permanent

Wage: up to $23/hr (Based on experience)

Timing: 8 am to 5 pm

Job Duties and Responsibility:

• Maintain organized, secure workplace, ensuring appropriate measures are taken during production.
• Keen ability to strictly follow PC assembling requirements and identify and validate a large number of checkpoints during the assembly process.
• Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports.
• Install, test and update computer equipment (computers, servers, peripherals, programs and software).
• Assemble LCD Monitors, Rack Drawers, Keyboards and Pointing devices.
• Basic mathematical capabilities with an understanding of tolerances/sizes.
• Assemble specialized computers and peripherals that includes Small, Tiny and Mini PC computers.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Capable of performing PC tests.

Qualifications:

• Must have considerable mechanical and desktop assembling aptitude, as well as strong attention to detail and quality in craftsmanship.
• College Diploma in Computer Science or related field will be an asset.
• Assembly experience in a related industry.
• Drive for Results – Demonstrates a focus on finishing all tasks assigned in a timely manner while taking ownership of tasks.
• Strong skills in organization, communication and technical troubleshooting.
• 1-3 Years of practical experience as a computer technician.
