We are currently recruiting for an OPTICAL FRONT-DESK ADMIN to join our NEW Stoney-Creek location and help create a warm working environment for both you and patients.

What does a day at Eyeology look like?

You will be in charge of patient flow, check in patients, insurance claims, ensuring all pre-tests have been completed and the patient is ready to go for our Optometrists. Beyond patient flow, you will be focusing on office management in terms of frame inventory, overall productivity and cleanliness of the appearance of the clinic and reporting patient statistics. You will be helping with contact lens training and helping patient with choosing glasses and lenses, adjusting eyewear and purchasing eyewear and contact lenses. You will be the leader of the Optical side of the business and handle all the main concerns when it comes to frames, lenses, contact lenses & fittings! You are the bond between the Optometrist and Patient. Aside from these activities, you will ensure exam rooms are prepped, recalls are completed on time, follow-ups on upcoming appointments and reminders, and monitor the daily schedule and flow of patients. You will be helping with analyzing clinic statistics and monitoring the clinic and completing day-end tasks.

Qualifications

• Efficiency in Microsoft and office and Windows based computers
• Working experience in optical field or reception/office admin
• Optical background from School or Work
• Customer Satisfaction, Clinical Conversion, Administrative efficiency.
• Full-time/Part-time availability
• Motivated to make an impact in thousands of lives through vision
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Detail oriented and highly organized

Abilities

• Knowledge about different lenses available in the market.
• Troubleshooting with patients and patients eyewear
• Using lensometers (automated and manual)
• Dispensing in Optical area
• Contact lens fittings and teachings background
• Lens fittings (Progressive, bifocal, single vision) and lens verification
• Pre-testing for Optometrists
• Adjustments on frames and lenses
