Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Partner - Change Management (ERP) . This role is based out of our office in Montreal (QC), or Oakville (ON) and reports to the Change Management Lead.


Job Summary


Working in close collaboration with the Change Management and Project teams, the objective of this role is to build and implement communications plans for key IPEX change initiatives.


This role supports the execution of the North American Organizational Change Management communications strategy to advance the vision, mission, and reputation of the company both internally and externally.


A strategic partner to the business, they work closely and develop strong relationships with business leaders, executives, and managers. Providing communications advice and writing business-driven communication, they support business strategies and the ongoing communication needs of key business change management initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Complete other related assignments as a valued member of the NA OCM team.
  • Coordinate projects, programs, and events.
  • Coordinate with organizational stakeholders to align communications plans and materials with departmental planning processes.
  • Provide communications advice and support to key business stakeholders on change management initiatives, HR initiatives, corporate initiatives, including organizational change and transformation rollouts.
  • Research and write a variety of communications materials that help support key organizational stakeholders in their roles and promote and advance company culture and brand. Deliverables include announcements, talking points, business success stories and profiles, social media content, web copy, FAQs, Newsletters, and more.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain editorial calendars, guidelines and best practices for all content.
  • Ensure all content reflects the IPEX brand, upholding consistency in style, quality, and tone of voice.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Strategic thinker with ability to incorporate and align with the broader business picture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or equivalent standard.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a corporate communication writing role.
  • Experience in large scale ERP transformation an asset.
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex topics in simple language to a variety of audiences.
  • Bilingualism – English and French an asset.
  • Experience with a public company an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with solid organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Strong understanding and execution of proper grammar and Canadian Press Style guidelines.
  • Excellent writing, editing, interviewing and proofreading skills, along with the ability to write creatively with clarity, voice, tone and branding.

Travel


Up to 25% travel requirement, mostly between Montreal and Toronto, and occasionally to other IPEX locations.
