Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Architect to join our talented IT team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and security for our applications and services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable cloud architecture solutions.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Architect and manage multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to meet the specific needs of our applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud trends and best practices, and continuously improve the cloud architecture.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security measures and compliance standards.
• Monitor cloud resources' performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance our infrastructure.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions utilizing best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Work with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services into the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in cloud computing concepts, virtualization, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory but considered a plus):

• Knowledge of big data technologies and data analytics in cloud environments.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
