Knowledge of functional programming and experience with one of the functional languages (Erlang, Elixir, Closure, Haskell, F#, Rust, etc.)

Understanding requirements to transform existing applications, or create greenfield applications, using scalable event driven architectures with Cloud Native serverless solutions.

5+ years of experience as software engineer or software architect

2+ years experience acting as a technical lead on projects or teams

NodeJS (experience with at least one of the following: Express, Socket.IO, NestJS)

Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable cloud architecture solutions.

Architect and manage multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to meet the specific needs of our applications.

Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.

Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through to completion

Strong background in network performance optimization and traffic management techniques

Manage the configuration and provisioning of GKE/EKS clusters, other managed cloud resources, and cloud networking resources with Terraform

Provide technical expertise on cloud technologies, including networking design choices, to meet the requirements of the application and the business

Support contract discussions with public cloud providers regarding network-related services and offerings

5+ years of experience architecting systems and network components in GCP or AWS environments

Demonstrated experience in cloud governance, including cost optimization, resource management, and access control.

Architect and implement cloud solutions using both Microsoft Azure and AWS, considering best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements.

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, designing and implementing cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms.

Conduct assessments of existing cloud infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and recommending optimization strategies.

Develop cloud strategies ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud environments.

Set up governance frameworks, policies, and procedures

Demonstrated experience in cloud governance, including cost optimization, resource management, and access control.

Collaborate with stakeholders to drive cloud adoption initiatives, evangelizing the benefits of cloud technologies and promoting best practices.

5+ years of proven experience in software development, cloud systems, scalable architectures.

Experience with modern server-side scripting languages such as python, node.js, php, ruby, etc.

In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)

• Must have 7+ years of Azure Architecture and Engineering hands on experience

• 5+ years of AWS Architecture and Engineering hands on or related experience

• 3+ Years of OCI Architecture Engineering hands on experience

• Knowledge of Azure, AWS & OCI Best practices and standards

• Previous ERP in OCI experience an asset

• FortiNet FortiGate Firewall experience in the cloud an asset

At least 2 years of full-time translation/editing/copywriting work experience

Experience in the E-Commerce industry, must be familiar with UI content

AWS CDK experience is a plus

AWS solution architect or AWS certified developer certification is a plus

Experience with software engineering processes, Agile framework, tools, methods, test development, algorithms, and data structures.

• Experience in designing highly resilient and highly available applications in Azure.

Demonstrable writing and deck preparation skills for technical, management, and executive audiences

10+ years’ experience in software development, with 3+ years in as a cloud security architect

3+ years’ experience with one or more of the following: GCP, Azure

Support Project/Program management team ensuring project plan activities are delivered on time, on budget and in line with customer expectations

Knowledge of financial markets and understanding of business requirements, ability to work in a demanding environment to meet customer deadlines

Cloud certification in Snowflake, Azure (SnowPro Advanced: Architect and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) bare minimum requirement
