The role:
The Retention.com Onboarding Manager is first and foremost a relationship manager, developing and fostering long-term relationships with clients through thoughtful communication, problem solving, and team support. The Onboarding Manager engages new clients after the initial sale, guiding them through onboarding and implementation in the early months and acting as an extension of our Product and Support teams. Our Sales team engages new customers; our Client Success team fosters the relationships that drive our long-term success.
The responsibilities:
- Identify potential new sales leads via existing clients
- Continually innovate new methods to improve client experience and results
- Compile updated customer reports for senior leadership
- Be a generally awesome person who clients want to stay in touch with
- Act as a liaison between clients and the Retention.com support teams
- Develop and maintain client relationships through regular communication, check-ins and performance reviews
- Hold our customers accountable to ensure onboarding is completed in a timely manner
- Guide new clients through the product implementation and subscription sizing stages
- Ensure that clients are utilizing all the products and features our technology offers

- Understand how to prioritize tasks
- Can think on your feet and navigate challenges without a step-by-step guide
- Are personable, empathetic and enjoy fostering new relationships
- Have at least two years of relevant work experience (experience in Account Management, Client Success, Technical Support or any relationship management role is preferred)
- Want to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment with an incredible team
- Enjoy learning about the technical side of processes
- Have experience with JavaScript (preferred, but not required)
- Possess above-average quantitative skills
- Have a knack for problem-solving
- View change as an opportunity for growth
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
