Responsibilities

• Support team by performing a range of site maintenance activities.
• Supervise a team performing routine work.
• Provide operational support by performing a range of route activities using existing systems and protocols.
• Manage the operating engineers regulatory components for a B23 category plant ensuring compliance requirements are met
• Organize work schedule in order to meet commitments; coordinating with support services if necessary.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance routines.
• Ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of site utilities

Requirements

• Manages and applies safe systems of work and provides technical guidance when required.
• Demonstrated leadership capability
• Provides technical guidance on developing, monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
• Provides technical guidance on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
• 3rd Class Stationary Engineer
• Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies.
