Business Analyst, Compliance Jobs

Our Client, one of the largest banks in the world, is looking to hire a Business Analyst for the Compliance projects, working with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Will Do

• Completing requirements (BRD) and associated functional requirements (FDD) by working with business stakeholders and facilitating working sessions and meetings.
• Documenting and facilitating post-deployment business support and handover.
• Prepare options analysis by framing the problem statement, options, recommendations, and data to support options and recommendations to inform effective and efficient decision-making from Senior Management and stakeholders.
• Complete business implementation plans to support the implementation of the changes to day-to-day business operations, inclusive of implementation plans, end user manuals against system changes, planning and conducting training sessions, and documenting job aids and new processes and/or procedures.
• Complete UAT (User Acceptance Test) strategy and plan, participating and supporting the business, test case and execution script development, environment readiness, end-to-end scenario, and data preparation, tracking and reporting variances to closure, regression testing, and managing sign-off with the business.
• Analyzing current IT systems and software programs and how they add value or complicate daily business practices.
• Work with end users to determine business needs/requirements for new/enhanced systems or applications.
• Bring, identify, and escalate issues (as appropriate) from requirements gathering and track and resolve open actions to ensure completeness of business requirements.
• Complete business future state process flows based on requirements and gap analysis.
• Determine client requirements and transform them into system requirements.
• Complete end-to-end data mapping to inform system design and interface design
• Perform current state assessment and process engineer end-to-end KYC Business Processes spanning Compliance and Front-Line actions (inclusive of metrics) against business objectives and goals of the project to inform business requirements.
• Bridge understanding of business requirements between business partners and technology and assist/and or translate business requirements to system requirements.
• Adhere to and promote Business Analysis best practices for scope management, business requirements management, current and future state process design, gap analysis, user acceptance testing, traceability, training, and change management through to implementation.
• Conduct informal and formal reviews or showcase the new functionality to key stakeholders and obtain sign-off.

What you will bring:

• Experience as a BSA/Sr.BSA on projects involving cross-functional teams and business partners and in creating the necessary documentation is required.
• Solid understanding and experience with SDLC methodology are required.
• Must possess core Banking and AML (Transaction Monitoring System) experience.
• Experience working in SharePoint Development or Upgrade Projects is a must.
• A good understanding of analyzing event logs and log files, checking job dependencies, query databases, etc. is desired.
• Be comfortable with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project). MS-Visio and MS Project experience is a must.
• Able to investigate and troubleshoot issues/defects by working closely with IT Applications Team desired.
• Must be fluent in technology and have strong knowledge of software development.
