Location: Work is what you do, not where you go. For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in the United States or Canada


About The Opportunity


The Service Consultant participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities. Project responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, configuring the Ceridian solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance to Associate Consultants, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.


What You’ll Get To Do


  • Configure Ceridian application to meet customer’s documented requirements
  • Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for internal and external users
  • Develop SQL database scripts and XML transformers for integrations and interfaces
  • Conduct consulting sessions and document with meeting minutes
  • Document and validate customer’s business requirements
  • Work with customers to implement Ceridian Organizational Readiness best practices
  • Provide customers with consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise
  • Attend project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables

Skills And Experience We Value


  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Technical documentation skills
  • 3-5 years’ of HCM consulting experience with an HCM software provider
  • Expertise in complex integration solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Creation of UAT and Parallel test plans
  • Experience in business process mapping and organization readiness
  • Master’s degree or post graduate coursework
  • Superior customer support experience
  • HCM life cycle expertise, including operations and business practices and technology enablement


What Would Make You Really Stand Out


  • Prior consultative or functional experience with Dayforce HCM
  • Prior consultative experience with employee data integration or HCM software
  • Knowledge of prevailing wage and union concepts
  • Expert knowledge of SQL scripts and XML transformers
