- Setting up/taking part in promotional activities for new research solutions (breakfast conferences, Lunch & Learn, conferences, etc.)
- Seeking opportunities for partnerships/working together with sector divisions at other offices and internal departments
- Establishing and maintaining a relationship of trust with clients by demonstrating knowledge, understanding and expertise in their industry
- Recommending or integrating research methods or tools that use the company’s competencies: Leger Analytics, Data Mining, Leger Opinion
- Bringing the division’s research reports to a more strategic level
- Ensuring quality control of the team members’ mandates and respecting timelines
- Developing new client accounts, year after year
- Maintaining and expanding the scope of existing client mandates by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
- Supporting team members in developing strategic recommendations and identifying opportunities
- Providing feedback to division clients based on the results obtained in the client satisfaction survey
- Sharing new market trends with clients
- Acting as the client’s research or strategic consultant before, during and after the mandate
- Ensuring a long-term vision of your field of expertise
- Developing new research solutions
- Managing strategic, large-scale or complex projects, including making strategic recommendations, writing reports and providing expert advice to clients
- Informing clients about Leger’s products and services
- Presenting research results in person and seeking opportunities for discussion
- Conducting a post-mortem review of mandates with members of his or her team in order to evaluate the account’s development potential
- Broadening knowledge and expertise of your field of expertise
- Identifying business opportunities, responding to RFPs, supervising and presenting service proposals to elicit opportunities for discussion
Requirements
- At least ten (10) years of experience in the market research or strategic consulting industry as a consultant or market/strategic research professional
- University degree (Master’s level preferred)
- Proven expertise in project management or working on complex mandates for clients
- Advanced skills in writing strategic reports and presentations
- Proficient with computer tools: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook), SPSS/Stat XP, Sawtooth, etc.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques: segmentation, MaxDiff, factor analysis, multiple regression, conjoint analysis, etc.
