Invico provides alternative capital solutions, including both private equity and private debt to assist high-quality companies and management teams in making strategic acquisitions, financing capital expenditures and growth programs, and supporting working capital requirements.
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, intellectually curious and resourceful financial professional with strong analysis and Excel skills to join our growing investment management team as Associate Vice President, Investments.As a senior member of the investment management team, with the support of a team of Analysts and Associates, the responsibilities of this key leadership position within the lending team will include:
Account management (for select complex accounts)
·Maintain and update loan documentation
·Oversee investment performance monitoring and covenant compliance
·Review factoring submissions
·Valuation review
Underwriting (for select opportunities)
·Review/screen new lending opportunities
·Analyze new lending opportunities and prepare term sheets for desirable transactions
·Lead due diligence, coordinate preparation of loan documentation and prepare investment decision report
Portfolio management (team effort)
·Assist in preparation of quarterly performance report
·Review quarterly and annual portfolio analyses
·Review dealer partner due diligence materials
Required education and experience
·University degree in accounting or finance
·Hold or pursuing CFA, MBA, CPA or CBV designations
·Education or experience in commercial finance
·Experience with loan agreements and terms
·Financial analysis or modelling experience
·Strong verbal and written communication skills
The following experience and skills, though not required, would be of particular interest:
·Oil and gas industry experience
·ESG or responsible investing knowledge (Invico is a United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment signatory)
·Real estate rental property industry experience
