Job Description
Working for the IT division within the CTC business unit, you will be part of an IT Delivery Team responsible for managing and delivering large IT projects for strategic business change initiatives. Work includes managing project and functional staff and delivering all aspects of the Project Management and Systems Implementation/Development Life Cycle. Project Managers work collaboratively with the business to deliver to meet the business priorities.


What You’ll Do


  • Applies a structured approach to problem-solving and understands the context and impact of
  • Maintain and encourage open lines of communication between groups/functional areas/team members
  • Develops the project organization and structure to optimize the alignment of individual and group skills with project tasks
  • Effectively work with the business to help make risk-based choices to meet the overall business objectives
  • Prepares status reports and writes clear, concise communications related to complex and/or sensitive issues.
  • Experience in Agile project management, working in an Agile environment and familiarity with SDLC processes, as well as knowledge about various Agile methodologies and experience in coaching scrum and Kanban teams
  • Apply System Development and Project Management methodologies in a flexible manner to adapt to applicable delivery strategies (i.e., agile development, package implementation)
  • Conducts formal risk management sessions. Documents and manages risk management plan
  • Manage, motivate and lead the project team
  • Facilitate team(s) scrum ceremonies and proactively supports the Product Owner(s) to ensure the team is focused on sprint goals and OKRs to help ensure timelines are being met for stakeholders
  • Accountable for overall delivery of projects, with the specified level of quality for the project sponsor, on time and within budget and scope
  • Uses appropriate planning and monitoring techniques to control project costs and project delivery
  • Identifies critical path and determines and integrates milestones, control points, imposed dates and Go/No-go decision points into the schedule
  • Provides a high level of relationship management, resolving conflicts and enabling discussions amongst stakeholders, management, co-workers and team members with varied interests.


What You Bring


  • ITIL/ Change Management Experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of Retail is a definite asset
  • Professional PM/Agile/SAFe designation or equivalent in education and experience is an asset
  • Experience in delivering data products/projects in database technology/ data warehousing/ analytics/ ETL/ Business Intelligence is an asset
  • Experience in delivering technical capabilities/services, data acquisition to our cloud platforms, and services to expose data for enterprise consumption is an asset
  • Very strong customer and delivery orientation
  • Additional PM competencies: timely decision-making, effective team building, ability to prioritize and delegate appropriately and deal with changing priorities
  • Executive presence; strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experienced in System Development Lifecycle and Project Management methodologies; understanding of the inherent value of such, and the ability to apply them in a flexible manner in various situations
  • Ability to scale thinking and analysis from strategic to detail and vice versa
  • Broad knowledge across foundational technology domains, including security, infrastructure, and networking is an asset
  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Ability to deliver at a Program level, responsible for successfully delivering multiple projects within the program
  • Excellent people management skills; experience working with and managing teams in a matrix environment
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in managing medium to large, complex projects using a disciplined approach to project management
  • Core PM competencies: budget and timeline management, scope management, risk management,
  • Conflict resolution and effective mediation and influencing skills
  • Strong leadership Skills
