Job Summary

Canadawide is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, to join our Accounting Department.

Specific Responsibilities

• Data entry
• Filing
• Sorting emails
• Weekly auditing
• Match amounts received to invoices and prepare extensions
• Sort and match invoices with purchase orders and receipt book

Skills

• Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of SAGE 300 (asset)
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated organizational and follow-up skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Bilingual
• Strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
