ANALYSTE PLANIFICATION FINANCIÈRE ANALYSE ET PROJETS

SOMMAIRE DU POSTE & RESPONSABILITÉS:

L’analysteproduit de multiples rapports de gestion interne ainsi que de reporting externe pour la SVPM et la Fondation du Centre des sciences de Montréal (FCSM). Il est responsable de la tenue des KPI et de leur analyse. Il participe activement au processus de fin de mois, de trimestre et d’année ainsi qu’à la vérification et aura à manipuler le progiciel JDE et le logiciel Hubble. Il est responsable de la création des projets en capital et de leur suivi.

Planification financière et analyse (75%)

· Préparer les états financiers consolidés mensuels, trimestriels et annuels;

· Préparation de divers rapports de performance et analyse de ceux-ci afin d’assurer leur exactitude;

· Préparation de KPI et analyse de ceux-ci afin d’assurer leur exactitude;

· Préparer le tableau de bord mensuel;

· Comptabilisation des baux (en tant que preneur) selon IFRS16;

· Participe au processus de fin de mois et suggère, au besoin, des améliorations pour améliorer l’efficacité de la fermeture mensuelle;

· Procède à la comptabilisation des opérations qui lui sont assignées;

· Prépare mensuellement les analyses de comptes de bilan qui lui sont assignées;

· Applique des contrôles afin de s’assurer de l’exactitude et de l’intégralité des informations financière;

· Participe à l’amélioration continue des procédures de comptabilisation ;

· Responsable de la création des projets en capital dans JDE et du suivi budgétaire de ceux-ci;

· Responsable de maintenir les prévisions de dépenses en capital mensuellement;

· Participe activement au processus budgétaire annuel;

· Participe activement à la révision périodique de prévisions financières;

· Responsable de l’intégration du budget et des prévisions au progiciel JDE;

· Participe activement aux projets d’amélioration continue;

· Participe à l’implantation de nouveaux modules de JDE (job cost, baux, revenus);

· Est responsable des tests lors de mises à jour des systèmes;

· Révise les lots des comptes à payer;

· Supporte les comptes à payer lors de cas plus complexes nécessitant analyse;

· Agit à titre de support aux usagers de JDE lors de problématiques;

· Prépare les écritures de régularisations mensuelles;

· Remplace, au besoin, d’autres membres de l’équipe et est formé le cas échant.

· Répond de façon courtoise et respectueuse aux clients internes et travaille en étroit collaboration avec les autres services;

· Assure un délai de réponse rapide et facilite l’atteinte des objectifs de ses clients internes;

· Protège la confidentialité des informations afin de maintenir le niveau de confiance de ses clients internes envers le service.

EXPÉRIENCES & CONNAISSANCES RECHERCHÉES :

· Baccalauréat en comptabilité

· 5 années d'expérience en comptabilité financière incluant la préparation de rapports de performance et de KPI mensuels

· Expérience de projets d’amélioration continue incluant l’implantation de progiciel de gestion

· Expérience avec les immobilisations (projet en capital, mises en service, amortissements, impairments)

· Connaissances informatiques : MS Office (Excel de niveau avancé) et JDE (un atout)

· Connaissances des normes IFRS

· Bilinguisme : Anglais intermédiaire (niveau 3)

JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recognized for the quality of its products and services, the Old Port of Montréal Corporation (OPMC) manages a vast recreational and tourist site. Through the development of the Old Port of Montréal (OPM) and the Montréal Science Centre (MSC), the Corporation actively participates in the development of the city. A dynamic and diversified place awaits you!

The analyst produces multiple reports for internal management as well as external reporting for the OPMC and the Montréal Science Centre Foundation (MSCF). The analyst is responsible for maintaining KPIs and their analysis. The candidate will be actively involved in the month, quarter and year-end process as well as in the audit and will have to manipulate the JDE and Hubble software packages. This position is responsible for the creation of capital projects and their follow-up and acts as the right hand of the Manager, Financial Planning, Analysis and Projects.

Financial planning and analysis (75%)

• Acts as a support to JDE users in case of problems;
• Preparation of various performance reports and analysis of the same to ensure their accuracy;
• Actively participates in the annual budget process;
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements;
• Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives;
• Prepares assigned balance sheet account analyses on a monthly basis;
• Is responsible for testing during system upgrades;
• Applies controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information;
• Actively participates in the periodic review of financial forecasts;
• Participates in the implementation of new JDE modules (job cost, leases, revenues);
• Replaces, as needed, other team members and is trained when necessary.
• Responsible for maintaining monthly capital expenditure forecasts
• Participates in the continuous improvement of accounting procedures;
• Review accounts payable batches;
• Preparation of and analysis of KPIs to ensure their accuracy;
• Responsible for the creation of capital projects in JDE and their subsequent budget tracking;
• Responsible for the data integration of the budget and forecasts in the JDE software;
• Support accounts payable in the most complex cases requiring analysis;
• Performs accounting of assigned transactions;
• Participates in the month-end process and suggests improvements to improve the efficiency of the process as needed;
• Prepares monthly regularization entries;
• Accounting of leases (as lessee) according to IFRS16;
• Preparation of monthly dashboard;

Customer Service (25%)

• Responds in a courteous and respectful manner to internal customers and works closely with other departments;
• Ensures a quick response time and facilitates the achievement of internal customer objectives;
• Protects the confidentiality of information in order to maintain the trust level towards the service.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Experience with fixed assets (capital projects, start-ups, depreciation, impairments)
• Bilingualism: Intermediate English (level 3)
• Computer skills: MS Office (advanced Excel) and JDE (an asset)
• Knowledge of IFRS standards
• Experience with continuous improvement projects including ERP implementation
• 5 years’ experience in financial accounting including preparation of performance reports and monthly KPIs
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
