  • Complete project work to deadlines and DC standards.
  • Interface externally with engineering consultants’ document control personnel to ensure document control procedures are implemented and being followed.
  • Maintain and control files for all engineering project documentation in the EDMS (Adept).
  • Support document control (DC) in the management and turnover of engineering records, data, drawings, and design documentation in accordance with Plains DC Standards and Procedures.
  • Interface with other Plains document control personnel, project managers and operations personnel to ensure consistency in approach with document control procedures and to leverage off existing practices.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience in a project environment or equivalent
  • Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines while meeting project requirements
  • Motivated team player, able to work with team members to meet project deadlines
  • Strong analytical, interpretive, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills with proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and other document control systems
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Post-secondary education in information and records management or comparable post-secondary education and relevant experience
  • Experience in an engineering or oil and gas owner/operator environment
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
