As a member of our flight operations team, you assume the responsibility for safe and efficient operation of our Twin Otter fleet, working for a company that is the lifeline for the indigenous communities of Labrador. Exploring the Big Land, you'll come to work in some of the beautiful and remote places in Canada.

Air Borealis is currently seeking qualified applicants for AME Apprentice in Goose Bay, NL.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Other duties as assigned
• Comply with all company safety practices and procedures
• Assist in carrying out maintenance, repair, and modification on aircraft
• Report to the Shift Supervisor on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft
• Complete worksheets for work accomplished
• Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with the company Maintenance Control Manual and Transport Canada Regulations
• Complete all required documentation and task cards for the work accomplished related to the aircraft maintenance performed
• Carry out the inspection, maintenance and repair of company aircraft and related aircraft systems
• Ensure that assigned aircraft are maintained in accordance with Customer Standards
• Report unserviceable maintenance equipment

Qualifications

• Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed
• Troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations
• Knowledge of airframe and power plant systems
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Must possess strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills
