Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager at the University of Gloucestershire (multi-site)


Location: University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham


Rate of pay: Competitive + amazing benefits!


Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday


Key Responsibilities


Overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation, in house sales, finance and development of the business across all university campus’s in both Cheltenham and Gloucester, ensuring the service is managed in line with the client requirements and the Gather & Gather brand.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities


Food and Service Development


  • Ensure that the client expectations of food and food service are consistently delivered and measured across all UOG campuses and are in line with the Gather & Gather brand.
  • Proactively make suggestions to clients regarding innovation in food and food service to develop the business across all UOG campuses.
  • Set clear expectations to all staff regarding food and service standards to ensure that all services provided are of the highest standards across all UOG campuses.
  • Continual review of the service and food provided in the site, providing feedback to the team and ensuring any necessary changes are incorporated into the service provision across all UOG campuses.


Relationship Management


  • Develop and sustain strong working relationships with the relevant clients at the individual business.
  • Actively gain customer feedback and to use the information to improve the offering at any given business.
  • Be the first point of reference for all client comments and concerns and take any necessary action.
  • Conduct appropriate business review meetings with relevant clients to ensure that all targets, objectives and service level agreements are being met.
