ABOUT THE ACCOUNT MANAGER
The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of clients that utilize our franchise development solutions and services. You will cultivate ongoing client relationships and oversee complex marketing projects. You will assist with identifying opportunities to improve client success. You are personable and outgoing, experienced with managing technical marketing projects, and comfortable coordinating internal teams. You are technically savvy, very organized, and have exceptional attention to detail. You are passionate about building relationships and have some team leadership experience. You will stand out if you have experience in an agency environment supporting franchisors.
This is a dynamic role and we are looking for someone who can think strategically, communicate effectively, and solve problems naturally. This is a Manager-level role with the opportunity to grow into a Director-level position, as we grow. We utilize cloud software to execute custom solutions for our clients. You are required to develop your skills in using our preferred software (Zoho CRM, Act-On Marketing Automation, and Textellent). Training will be provided. Cadence engages in a hybrid work environment consisting of remote meetings via Zoom and weekly in-person meetings at our office located at 2115 South Service Road W, Oakville, ON, Canada.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & DUTIES
- Support clients with the franchise development programs provided by Cadence
- Build strong, trusted relationships with our client contacts
- Manage inbound requests from clients and assign tasks internally
- Assist with implementing and adhering to workflow processes
- Actively strive to improve client retention
- Provide clear, concise, and transparent communication to Cadence COO and CEO
- Manage monthly report delivery to clients
- Collaborate with your teammates, managing tasks and milestones
- Exercise your creativity and problem-solving to identify upsell opportunities
- Handle administrative duties as needed
- Coordinate support inquiries with our software vendors
- Analyze campaign performance and recommend ideas for improvement
- Manage client accounts, reporting to our COO
- Lead client meetings via Zoom and conduct demos/training sessions when necessary
- Develop and maintain an understanding of assigned client’s industries, company culture, products/services and strategic plans
- Lead quality assurance testing on deliverables
- Lead internal team meetings via Zoom
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- You enjoy staying ahead of the curve with an interest in emerging technologies
- Ability to lead by example
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Nice to have: online lead generation experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing account management role
- Ability to communicate enthusiastically to generate excitement with clients
- Ability to build strong, trusted relationships with people over the phone or Zoom
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agency environment
- Bilingualism is an asset but not mandatory
- Strong organization and time management skills
- University/College degree preferred
- Ability to solve problems on the fly
- Demonstrable experience supporting franchisors or related industry clients
- Familiarity with email marketing
