Maintains knowledge of all contractual and regulatory requirements of the customers.

Reviews, balances, interprets, and corrects computer reports and submits to management upon request.

Assists with managing inventories, orders, and related transactions for assigned customers and territories.

Verifies and posts details of business transactions to spreadsheets and databases.

Investigates and resolves customer complaints and/or issues in an urgent manner.

Provide technical assistance and support, proactively seeking opportunities and solicit feedback from frontline employees and management to enhance benefit programming

Administering the organization’s benefits programs (e.g., benefits & retirement plans, compliance requirements, insurance policies, etc.)

Proactively stay up to date on trends, best practices, and education within the benefit & investment industry

Manage the leave of absence administrative process and collaborate on associated support programs

Ensuring company is compliant with state and federal laws which includes Monitoring government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends

Collaborating with outside vendors, such as investment brokers and benefits vendors

Maintain the Commission Management Tools including AMC (for Sabre bookings) and Trava Commission Module (for Amadeus bookings)

Strong organizational skills in order to manage our internal software tools like Confluence, Jira and Amplitude

Excellent GDS knowledge and skills, including Sabre, Amadeus and NDC content.

Coordinate with Hopper Finance to identify barriers that inhibit proper collection of revenue from supplier partners

Maintain a deep understanding of new Hopper products & processes, technical systems, capabilities, planned improvements etc.

Exceptional ability to grasp, manage, and articulate complex systems

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the Group Benefits industry which includes Client Service and Analytical;

Review, prepare & peer review analysis of regular reporting, benefit summaries, process amendments and employee presentations/communications;

Knowledgeable in the area of group renewals and claims experience (required).

Provide administrative support to the firm’s Group Benefits Account Managers.

Maintain thorough knowledge of product/services offered by various group insurance carriers.

Minimum Education: Completion of Secondary School. Completion of some college or other post-secondary programs preferred.

Minimum Experience: At least 2-5-years’ experience in a group insurance support role.

Thorough knowledge of group insurance products and/or services.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes

Preferred: Licensed with LLQP (Life License Qualification Program)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Develop and maintain client relationships by providing exceptional customer service

Identify client needs and recommend suitable insurance products

Administer invoicing and payment processes for regional and some local vendors including validating payments, etc. within the defined vendor management framework

Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable legislation.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in employee benefits administration.

Demonstrated analytical abilities, attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities

Accurate, timely closing all transactions.

Each month prints out the upcoming closings for the month.

Every week pull closings and contact Lawyer/Notaries to confirm they have everything.

Reviews and sends excess deposits to Lawyer/notaries

Notifies Broker of missing paperwork.

Act as the Subject Matter Expert for area of responsibility and provide recommendations and solutions to improve overall company benefit offerings.

Participate in ongoing professional development to aid in ongoing knowledge and skills acquisition.

Proactively and independently develop reports and analyses for review by the HR Country Manager and North America Benefits Manager.

Minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in HR with exposure to employee benefits programs implementation and administration.

Demonstrated passion for benefits administration and a working knowledge of benefits regulations.

Partner with HRIS and IT on benefit/IT projects and in resolving data integrity related to assigned benefit programs.

Analyze and reconcile monthly benefit invoices for Management approval

Knowledge of Human Resources department procedures and Canadian benefits and compensation legislation, regulations and programs

Administer and respond to all benefit, payroll and compensation related inquiries, timely and confidentially

Provide new employees with onboarding sessions explaining our benefits and assist with enrollment procedures

Collaborate with Payroll and HR team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits and compensation related transactions

Conduct regular audits on benefits and compensation related data and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness

Explain policy features, benefits, and premiums to clients and answer any questions they may have.
