Unit Supplies Coordinator Jobs

Minimum three (3) years direct related experience in a computerized purchasing/materials management environment.

Completion of Level 1 Purchasing Management Association of Canada, (PMAC) is preferred.

Previous experience in inventory control required.

Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite specifically Microsoft Excel, and the Internet.

Excellent spelling and grammatical skills.

Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.

Manage billing and invoicing .

Experience with D365 and Microsoft Office is considered an asset .

Customer Service experience is considered an asset .

Experience in a similar role is an asset .

Provide administrative support to the Install ation Services Sales team .

Process Purchase order s for special order materials .

Identifies, records, reviews internally, and initiates any requested change management for additional work, scope creep, etc.;

Remains current with changing technology in the contractor management and inventory management industry practices;

Remains current with changing technology in the Supplier management and inventory management industry practices;

Thorough knowledge of material and contract administration including proponent selection, qualification, auditing, and performance reporting.

Manages a registry of contracts and agreements for quick reference;

Manages, documents, and obtains direction from applicable TIM trade groups and responds to all supplier requests for information;

Team player with effective communication skills

Demonstrated understanding of the importance of cleanliness in a hospital

Ability to establish good relationships

Good judgement and demonstrated initiative

Competencies in other languages are an asset, French preferred.

Temporary, Part-time (70%) position; 52.5 hours bi-weekly

Previous retail management experience for a minimum of 5 years

Works with Management Team to ensure Store Standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the backroom

Manages labour scheduling and leverages Work Force Management (WFM) to maximize labour productivity

Planning and preparation for Inventory Management

Works effectively with management team

Maintains Store Standards to optimize customer experience, drive customer traffic, and positively impact store profitability

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Master's Degree Preferred.

10-12 years of experience in a similar role

Must have report writing abilities.

Advise the OCHA Head of Office on information management and communications issues, including strategic and immediate priorities.

Assists in the production of appeals for international assistance; ensures the proper use and spending of donor contributions channeled through OCHA.

Certification in supply chain management (SCMP designation, or equivalent from another professional organization in Supply Chain such as APICS).

Experience with international vendor management and inbound logistics is highly preferred.

Own the creation of supply plans for assigned product categories, including data analysis, forecasting, and inventory management.

4 year post-secondary degree or equivalent, preferably in a related field: supply chain management, purchasing, logistics, operations management, business management.

Assisting Ward Clerks in delivering requisitions, specimens, x rays, etc.

Previous Unit Aide experience preferred.

Knowledge of Health Centre fire response regulations required.

Cleaning and disinfecting in accordance with Infection Control guidelines

Ensuring patient rooms are clean and tidy

Maintaining supplies and equipment required for the unit
