Experience and knowledge in RDBMS and No-Sql databases such as Oracle, Postgres, MariaDB, and Cassandra.

Uses technical knowledge, creativity, and company practices to drive down occurrences of incidents through the development of proactive monitoring and alerting.

Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure; Google, AWS, or Azure a plus

Experience with PaaS technologies such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, and Bosh.

Good understanding and operational experience with container technologies like Docker, rkt, Mesos.

Manage capital projects that involve groundwater and surface water treatment facilities, water pumping stations and water storage facilities

Knowledge of water distribution, transmission, pumping, storage and treatment processes, design and construction practices, codes and standards.

Collaborate with the team lead, project manager and project engineer to develop design criteria and drawing layouts.

5+ years of experience in a maintenance management role, within a unionized industrial maintenance environment preferred.

Updates CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) with effective work plans to ensure they are descriptive and per manufacturers recommendations.

Must have the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.

Plan and always operate with safety in mind.

Uses data to analyze equipment performance.

Identifies required improvement projects, gains alignment, and plan / coordinates their implementation.

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities & Competencies:

Complete any needed HR duties for the management of staff

Development and tracking of management dashboards and reports

Responsible for training and education of new staff and recurrent training of existing staff

Manage suppliers and vendor relationships.

Manage the RFP responses for hosting perimeter

Experience working within a technical or engineering organization with knowledge of the high-technology industry considered an asset.

Assist in long-term strategic planning to ensure server capacity meets current and future requirements.

1-3 years experience in Software Development/DevOps/SRE or a similar role.

Strong troubleshooting skills with a systematic problem-solving approach.

Experience with Powershell, Python, SQL, and Linux-based systems.
