Knowledge, understanding and experience of established Project Management Methodologies and Techniques related to all phases of an IT project life cycle

You lean towards fast execution and is able to balance providing value to users quickly while building scalable solutions

You’ll lead the design team on a product that’s used by +150k users today, and millions tomorrow

Minimum 8-10 years’ project management experience working in electronic health-related projects in Agile environment.

Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

Knowledge and understanding of Project Management’s Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge

Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices

Time Management, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects

Provides project management on large scale, complex projects for Ontario Health (OH) initiatives

10+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager/Leader/Executive

A valid relevant Professional Certification

Experience working in the Federal Government

Experience reporting to high-ranking executives such as Ministers, ADM’s and Director Generals

Experience leading Treasury Board submissions

Holds a University PhD, Graduate, or Undergraduate, Degree

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Develop and deliver executive communications, regularly presenting to senior management.

Knowledge and experience in project-managing large-scale technology deployment initiatives.

Experience gathering technical requirements for multifaceted technology projects.

Demonstrated experience with complex business case/funding submissions and competitive procurements (i.e., Requests for Bids/Requests for Proposals) in the public sector context.

Demonstrated experience with large-scale technology projects.

Knowledge of Backlog Management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Pivotal Tracker

Product Management – Knowledge, Risks, Issues, Scheduling & Reporting -

Experience gathering and developing requirements in order to create and maintain a detailed product schedule and/or integrated plan

Business Analyst and a product manager is a good combination

Experience with identification to risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed.

Advise Senior Management/Leadership on a range of issues affecting DGMP Strat and/or CMP/MPC's business objectives.

Advise Senior Project Managers responsible for project/program/portfolio elements, including project and financial management.

Manage program changes in accordance with the change management process.

Manage the implementation of projects/programs/portfolios, including identification, analysis, planning, and continuous progress tracking and control.

Demonstrated experience with leading I&IT product/service migrations, including working knowledge of migration methodologies, vendor management, and interdependencies.

Proven knowledge telecommunications infrastructure, rationalization, design, and migration.

The resource's depth of experience leading complex Enterprise level projects related to technology implementations and transformations, and user migrations.

Demonstrated experience of PM methodologies, experience in creating project charters, integrated plan development, tracking issues/risks, managing and reporting project financials.

Service implementation, migration and transformation experience -

Ability to plan and execute enterprise/ large-scale voice, network and SD-WAN and broadband internet service migrations.

Experience in the development and implementation of project management processes, plans, and communication tools.

Ability to promote I&IT project management best practices and adherence to standard methodologies

Experience in creating portfolio plans, monitoring project performance against project plans and generating progress reports using earned value or similar techniques.
