Senior Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer Jobs

Submit drawings to upper management and project teams

Must have experience designing industry or consumer-specific products (food or kitchen equipment is an asset)

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and various deadlines

Experience working on various types of design contracts including design-bid-build, construction management and design-build.

Work collaboratively with other disciplines and the project management team, ensuring schedule and budget are achieved.

Minimum of 10 years experience as a mechanical P.Eng working primarily in design roles.

Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, other provinces/states a benefit;

Knowledge of CEMA standards, Building Codes, CSA standards, and ASHRAE standards;

Relevant experience in the design of HVAC, dust collection, material handling and / or pumping and piping systems in Canada;

Project experience in mills, smelters, mines, industrial sites, infrastructure, refinery, ports, material handling, pulp and paper is beneficial

• 5 years of engineering project management experience leading a project team; more specifically

and project management portions of a product's life cycle including development, evolution and support all

• Has exceptional communication abilities and well-developed professional verbal and written skills

SAP ERP Materials Management Module experience

BS Mechanical Engineering/equivalent degree OR post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering/equivalent

3-5 years of working experience: Mechanical engineering and design of fluid treatment systems experience.

Experience in water treatment Industries

Apply mechanical, structural, hydraulic, and pneumatic engineering background

Create mechanical Computer Aided Design (CAD) models and drawings, Piping, and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) drawings

Strong experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)

Project Management, Project Engineering, Project Discipline Lead Duties

Remote Community Water Treatment and Power Generation

Minimum 5 years engineering work experience in a related field.

Working knowledge of 3D and 2D CAD software and related workflows for products similar to AutoCAD, CADWorx, Plant 3D, Revit, etc.

Technical scope varies based on project rosters and can include:

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Must have Professional Engineering Certification (P. Eng Canada), with 4 - 8+ years of successful experience in hydraulics, and mechanical engineering

Gated Product Development processes, Critical Chain, and other similar project management processes

Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, industry standards, and customer requirements.

May approve drawings, and/or approve ECO’s under direction of Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, or Director Engineering and Service.

Works with manufacturing, production, and quality control to ensure that parts and/or products meet engineering and customer requirements.

Minimum five to eight (5-8) years related experience within an automotive assembly or similar manufacturing industry

Experience in managing assembly line design, build, fabrication, and integration required

Knowledge of stamping and hydroforming processes

Manage project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budget.

5-7 years of experience related to the field of tunnel ventilation system design.

Demonstrable experience of one-dimensional analysis of tunnel networks using IDA Tunnel, SES, or similar software and / or computational fluid dynamics.

Demonstrable experience of using CFD codes such as FDS, ANSYS FLUENT/CFX, OpenFOAM and post-processing results with ParaView.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements of Ontario and standards such as NFPA and ASHRAE for transit sector.

The ability to prioritize effectively, handle deadlines and exceptional organization skills required for our rapidly changing environment

You are Conversant with design, qualification and certification test requirements of Hydro-Mechanical systems

You possess strong integration skills, in both system partner management and system technical integration

You are Familiar with Part 25 certification requirements and advisory material.

Review functional test requirements and ensure translation into mature functional tests

You have experience in providing engineering support to a Final Line/ Production

You have 8-15 years’ experience in aircraft Hydro-Mechanical systems (Fly-By-Wire & Control Surfaces, Wing High Lift, Hydraulics, Landing Gear, Brakes, etc)

Preferred knowledge in PPAP / APQP and associated tools such as FMEA, PFMEA QCP, MSA, etc.

Lean Six Sigma training and Green Belt certification is required

Strong statistical / design of experiment skills and competency in the use of JMP / Minitab

Knowledge of electronics & optics knowledge is an asset

Experience in the development of production automation/robotics is an asset

Identify and implement new production / inspection capability through acquisition of new process technology to improve cost, quality, and cycle times
