Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

· Develop a strong working knowledge of all aspects of the sales territory, office, and warehousing operations.

· Basic IT set up and troubleshoot with the remote IT team;

· Manage schedules to ensure proper staffing levels in all seasons for the Vancouver Office

· Great customer service skills

· Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Experience with business continuity program process implementation and emergency management (ICS) – preferably in global corporate setting.

Maintains all aspects of branch operations, from staffing to facilities management, budgeting and accounting procedures, service, and shop operations.

Collaborates with GRL management on company-wise Service Department processes, standards and best practices.

Dispatches, completes calls in a manner the balances dispatch flow, customer requirements, and costs incurred by GRL Service.

Maintains current knowledge of primary and secondary products and technologies and related work practices.

Key Collaborations: Director of Service, GRL accounting/administration staff, Product Specialist, Inside Sales, Service Managers in Delta, and Red Deer

5+ years combined experience working in account management, sales, and security.

Management experience is a must!

Superior organizational and time-management skills

Participate and lead the selection, development, management, and leadership of your supervisory team of district managers and field supervisors.

Manage and address staff issues as they arise, with support and direction from the HR team.

Support the Director of Operations in his role to manage operational spending and ensure cost-effective operational efficiencies.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education:

Coach and mentor the assistant branch manager through consistent observational feedback and frequent one on ones.

Leverage problem-solving and strong communication skills to resolve personnel and member concerns.
