3 years relevant Insurance and/or Finance experience

Enrollment in or completion of a professional risk management degree (CAIB, CRM or CIP)

Collaborate with Finance team with respect to collection of premium from franchisees and affiliates.

Strong organizational skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a deadline driven environment

Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel

Strong interpersonal skills, confident nature, diplomatic, team player, friendly customer service

Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and requirements, drawings,

Maintain Work Instructions/processes/procedures/QAPs/SOPs and airworthiness documentation related to DND requirements (F404 and J85).

Provide oversight of work instructions as well as upkeep of QAPs/SOPs and manuals to reflect off-site employee requirements

Experience with evaluating and implementing quality assurance tools and processes

Strong Microsoft Applications experience, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent written & oral communication skills.

Knowledge and experience in threat assessment and risk management, triaging risk, sexual violence, mental health, behavioural issues and/or addictions an asset

Minimum undergraduate degree in a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

3 to 5 years of experience working in a complex and confidential environment

Extensive knowledge of suicide intervention, violence prevention, and privacy legislation

Exceptional knowledge of a wide variety of resources on campus and in the community for students, staff, and faculty members

Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to thoughtfully communicate sensitive information

Knowledge of quality & patient safety management concepts and experience in applying them in the healthcare sector

Project Management certification or designation is an asset

Provide support to the Director Basel Compliance and the Vice President Enterprise Risk Management, including:

Where appropriate, assist program business streams with Project Management deliverables.

Maintain/manage and inventory the completeness of project documentation as appropriate.

Manage the content of the Basel PMO mailbox.

Prepare weekly program reporting, including program dashboards, status summary, and share with stakeholders.

Create process/ workflow charts and diagrams as required.

Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to maintain internal compliance systems and execute on general audit risk management projects.

Maintain up-to-date documentation of risk management processes and various monitoring controls to ensure they continue to operate effectively.

Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience

Proven track record of teambuilding, relationship management, and dealing effectively with Senior Management.

Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to maintain internal compliance systems and execute on general audit risk management projects.

Support the Risk Compliance team in the documentation and testing of various controls in the firm’s System of Quality Management.

Assist in preparing risk management guidance and training materials for system end-users and as part of the annual QPR program.

Provide support on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis to audit risk management teams.

Considerable experience in quality improvement and risk management.

Highly developed interpersonal, conflict resolution, project management and problem solving skills.

Well developed management level report writing and presentation skills.

Manages the home’s written educational material for staff, residents, and clients, including but not limited to newsletters and informational brochures.

Extensive experience in staff education in a healthcare or similar organization.

Identification, set-up, interviewing and reporting for In Flight Engagement Risk Reviews

Minimum of three years’ experience in long term care; previous management experience an asset

Takes the lead in the coordination, and implementation of best practice and risk management initiatives related to resident care

Current knowledge of clinical issues for geriatric residents, infection control, principles of adult education and quality improvement

Effectively manages utilization of nursing supplies

Demonstrated superior leadership and organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills

Computer skills: Microsoft Word; Excel, computerized resident care and assessment programs

Formal Clinical Research certification (i.e., SOCRA, ACRP) is highly recommended.

Minimum 3 years of work experience in Pharmaceutical and/or medical device clinical research required.

Demonstrated knowledge of the clinical development and risk-based central monitoring methodologies.

Diplomacy and negotiating skills; ability to speak in front of others in both informal (working groups) and formal (training) settings.
