The Director of Program Management is accountable to the Executive Director

We need experience with Device management and firmware management. Basically, someone who has worked with firmware releases, Upgrades.

5 + years program management experience, including consistent application of agile project management and change management methodologies and tools.

Strong experience with risk management/mitigation of large, complex initiatives

Powerful, concise and effective communication and presentation skills to all levels of management and external parties

Role: Senior Technical Program Management

Experience leading Scrum of Scrums, and other agile ceremonies.

· Provide daily program management throughout the program life cycle;

· Build, communicate, and manage an integrated program plan (IPP);

· Manage the program budget;

· Manage risks and issues, and take corrective measurements;

· Coordinate the projects within the program and manage their interdependencies;

· Manage resource utilization of WCB staff and vendors across the project steams;

Several years’ experience within financial services, project management, and/or other fields with a demonstrated capacity to define and implement strategic initiatives

Strong stakeholder engagement, co-ordination, strategic influencing, and people management skills, to facilitate teamwork and execution of priority initiatives

Lead and manage idea validation, cost/benefit analysis, and business case development through to approval of funding for priority initiatives

Lead and drive a client-driven culture to streamline customer onboarding, deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge

Manage a continue prioritization framework to ensure focus is always being placed on our highest priority initiatives for customers and employees

Lead and manage design, development, and implementation of priority initiatives

Provide recommendations to refine the VFPA project management strategy, processes, tools, and techniques, and implement.

Provide project and program management expertise to project teams throughout the VFPA.

Ensure the timely preparation of status information using a central project management repository.

Manage the workload and prioritize tasks to Project Managers and Program Managers

Proven experience at leading a PMO function, including development and rolling out of standards, processes, and tools.

Strong managerial leadership skills with 3+ years of experience in people management experience

Develop knowledge management and learning solutions for enterprise programs to meet the evolving needs of the organization and strategic business priorities.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge and research emerging practices, trends and innovation in knowledge management and learning approaches.

Mentor and lead other employees who are supporting knowledge management initiatives.

Proven experience as program director or other equivalent position with 7+ years of experience in project management

Thorough understanding of project/program management methodologies and experience in developing a program management approach and strategy

A degree/Higher diploma in Project Management, Business Administration, Operations, Information & Communication Technology, Education, or related disciplines

Sound technical knowledge and adaptability; proficiency with technology, including, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and course management system.

Energy and drive, superior communication abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills

Contribute to the Project Management programs strategic effectiveness by participating on internal and external committees, as requested by supervisor.

Create and maintain efficient and detailed electronic and paper file management processes

2 to 3 years of work experience in academic operations/student facing role preferred.

Leads the development and implementation of appropriate commercial management plans and strategies.

Transit experience is required, including expert knowledge of transit-related construction, engineering and/or operations.

Knowledge of human resources legislation and collective agreements to manage and direct project team employees, consultants, designers, and contractors.

Exceptional program and project management

Communicates expectations and obligations through Senior Executives and managers, and monitors and reports on performance

Canadian Rail Operating Rules (CROR) certification would be an asset.

Building educational software by mapping content to standards and lessons, building content classifications, and sequencing lessons

Providing feedback and guidance on educational software to ensure it's student-friendly and leverages best practices in education design

Teaching groups of students; our educational software does the teaching and you'll be building the content it uses

Developing educational software that prepares students to excel on the SAT & ACT exams

Experience tutoring SAT, PSAT, and/or SSAT test prep strategies for at least 15 hrs/wk

Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end project management with ability to implement new projects including planning, governance, change management and delivery.

You have strong project management experience, team leadership skills as well solid analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities;

Own the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your project portfolio;

Present project schedules, business cases and updates at regular reviews with senior management;

Escalate to the appropriate level of management as needed;

You have at least five (5) years of relevant experience;

You possess superior communication skills (written & spoken) and the ability to influence at different levels of the organization;
