Responsibilities


  • Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization and comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end project management with ability to implement new projects including planning, governance, change management and delivery.
  • Supports the evolution and integration of Program Management capabilities across various parts of the business.
  • Leads meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to manage program objectives, deliverables, contracts and address potential risks / mitigations / opportunities
  • Developing/updating/maintaining 30/60/90-day financial forecast of multiple programs against budget while identifying variances, risks, and opportunities
  • Develops a framework to assess Program health and areas for process improvement.
  • Responsible for identification of potential issues, enact change management and devise mitigation plans internally and externally
  • Accountable for ensuring programs meets approved budget and financial commitments.
  • Directs the delivery of multiple programs to achieve successful outcomes as defined by AFL and its clients
  • Updating senior leadership with operational and financial progress vs plan on a regular basis
  • Enhancing organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment
  • Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL.
  • Leads the development of various program P&L budgets that covers full spectrum of material supply and construction services
  • Accountable for creating, developing, and maintaining master operations schedule of all activities across the AFL value chain and translating into financial forecasts
  • Promoting a high-performance culture that encourage the team to create a competitive advantage for AFL’s customers through regular operational alignment reviews with management team
  • Leads the end-to-end project level financial process – quote, project creation, monitoring, and final billing

Qualifications


  • Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders internally and externally within a client organization.
  • Prior experience with organizational change management and introducing business process changes.
  • Experience in developing, coaching, and mentoring individuals through effective performance evaluation and feedback.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications, construction, or utilities industries, with specific experience in the context of a service provider, network build and FTTx delivery desired.
  • Extensive proficiency in the use of MS office suite of tools including Access, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Power platform (Apps, BI, Automate)
  • Expert understanding of Project and Program Management practices as it relates to strategic execution and business outcomes.
  • 10+ years of Project / Program Management experience, leading large, complex initiatives.
  • Results oriented individual with strong track record of delivery and exceeding expectations.
  • PMP Certification, MBA and/or CPA Certification
  • Ability to work seamlessly with people of varied experience, skill levels, technical and business savvy, and personality type.


Working Conditions


  • General hours of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Minimum 40 hours per week; M-F; flexible to adapt to client and operational needs in a management capacity
  • Normal office environment. Ability to work remote (up to 2 days a week)
  • Travel is required (up to 20%)
