Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to Radeon Technologies Group leadership and reports out regularly on status, decisions, issues to senior executives including CTO level technologists
• Drive technology definition and development across software, hardware, ecosystem, in collaboration with architecture and engineering functions
• Delivers on all aspects of the program, in alignment with the customer product requirements

 

Ownership Of The Following

• Drive operations initiatives including awards program and initiatives to achieve corporate goals
• Manage change in collaboration with key business stakeholders
• Program-level definition in concert with architects and business leaders
• Delivering timely engineering effort estimates from inception to execution
• Primary owner of overall messaging of status/issues to key stakeholders through sizing process
• Delivers plans to achieve milestones within schedule and budget
• Own and foster key relationships between engineering and business leaders, act as the main conduit to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, resources
• Lead key operations and exec forums

Preferred Experience

• Self-starter with leadership qualities who is interested and inspired by a fast-paced environment
• Engineering resource planning, negotiation, process improvement, and trade off decisions
• PMP certification desired
• Extensive experience interacting with senior executives, experience leading through influence
• Proven ability to drive multiple strategic operational programs, can multi-task effectively and manage competing priorities
• Understands engineering & business processes and reporting, experience with budget planning, collaboration with HR and Finance
• Proven track record of functional leadership in matrixed environment
• Expertise in graphics IP, SOC, and/or SW development
• Must have exceptional verbal, written, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
