Overnight Sanitation worker Jobs

One year experience in a food manufacturing facility is an asset.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Allergen Control Program is an asset.

Days (11 am- 7:30 pm)

Wiping tables and washing machine parts and utensils

Cleaning bathrooms and sweeping floors

Work efficiently to meet daily schedules and targets.

Prior warehouse experience considered .

Picking orders pallet jack, carts, etc.

Adhering to all safety guidelines.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Receiving products inside warehouse facility

Ensuring proper records of inventory are maintained

Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.

Perform work in a safe and efficient manner.

Comfortable with repetitive lifting of 50 pounds.

Company provides uniform, hearing, eye and hair protection. Offers reimbursement for safety footwear and prescription safety glasses.

Clean and sanitize the equipment and facility in order to produce a safe and quality product.

Equipment includes, but not limited to systems, pumps, tanks, conveyors.

Ensure clean, sanitary and orderly conditions.

Able to be trained in confined space entry and fall protection

Understand application of chemicals used in cleaning.

Assist residents with physical disabilities or chronic illnesses by providing care in their daily activities.

Experience working with the client population.

Knowledge of issues faced by vulnerable adults with special needs, which will include: addictions, cognitive impairments and low income.

Knowledge of a housing first approach and understanding of health and support services for transgender and gender fluid identified clients.

Demonstrated ability and experience dealing with aggressive behaviours and effective de-escalation and boundary setting skills.

2 Year diploma in social services or certification in security.

3+ years of experience working with older adults and/or seniors with mental health, addictions issues, and street involvement.

Demonstrated ability in written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills.

Knowledge of geriatric and aging issues.

Demonstrated ability and experience dealing with aggressive behaviours and effective de-escalation and boundary setting skills.

Assists in providing assistance to residents by; transporting them to the dining room to their room and to activities and events

Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)

Have previous experience in sanitation (even better if it is industrial sanitation!)

Maintain the cleanliness of the production floor and surrounding area

Adhere to cleaning procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices Standards and Health and Safety guidelines

Collect waste and recyclable materials from production area and dispose of them
