Job Description
Sanitation worker needed for busy Food manufacturing facility


Located in North York.


11 am- 7:30 pm

The Company


The client is operating a commercial bakery specializing in vegan, nut free and non-GMO baked goods.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Mopping floors
  • Wiping tables and washing machine parts and utensils
  • Cleaning bathrooms and sweeping floors
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily schedules and targets.
  • Cleaning the plant


Skills And Abilities


  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and supervisor
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Allergen Control Program is an asset.
  • One year experience in a food manufacturing facility is an asset.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25lbs.


Working Environment


  • Safety equipment required: steel toed safety shoes, lab coats, hair nets, gloves, plastic sleeves.
  • Manufacturing environment
  • Noisy and hot environment
