Labourer Jobs

GFL Environmental is looking for Labourers to support our Commercial lines of business out of our Holland Landing, ON site. We are looking for a motivated individual to work indoors and outdoors to help us separate and recycle our wood products. The candidate will need excellent attention to detail and good hand eye coordination to pick and isolate foreign materials from our raw fiber. Other tasks will be assigned as needed by the yard manager
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Operators with the maintenance and care of their heavy and operational equipment
• Other duties as assigned
• You must be prepared to work in inclement weather if working outdoors
• Work closing with excavator operator
• Working in a safe manner
• Ground crew cleanup for demolition jobs
• Report any incidents
• General yard clean-up and maintenance of the site
• Travel sporadically for demo jobs, accommodations provided
• Safety footwear is required, other PPE supplied
• Punctual and excellent attendance
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

• Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required
• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills in oral and written English
• Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions properly
• Self-starter, motivated and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
