Job summary Ensure the facility is kept clean in order to meet GMP requirements to produce safe and quality products. Maintain facility and equipment according to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and regulated food production standards.

Position duties

• Equipment includes, but not limited to systems, pumps, tanks, conveyors.
• Effective communication.
• Ensure clean, sanitary and orderly conditions.
• Clean and sanitize the equipment and facility in order to produce a safe and quality product.

Qualifications

• Understand application of chemicals used in cleaning.
• Able to be trained in confined space entry and fall protection

Work Environment

• Daily exposure to noise, dust and a variation in temperature (hot/cold).
• Company provides uniform, hearing, eye and hair protection. Offers reimbursement for safety footwear and prescription safety glasses.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Regularly required to bend, stoop, reach to clean areas. Using equipment such as push mops, brooms, vacuum, etc.
• 24/7 manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be required to work rotating 12 hour shifts. This means approximately 14 shifts per month.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time; climb stairs, ladders

Wages/Benefits

• Wages range between $18 and $21 per hour to start.
• Medical, dental, vision coverage and life insurance after 3 month probationary period.
• Paid vacation annually.
• $2.00 per hour shift premium for night shift.
• Paid personal time.
• Company paid pension plan (5% contributions at NO cost to the employee) after 1 year of service.
