Wages: $19 - $21 per hour

AT MAMA YOLANDA’S GORMET LASAGNA OUR SANITATION WORKERS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Suggest and implement improvements to sanitation practices, equipment and processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall cleanliness.
• Adhere to all sanitation standards set by CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency), Food Safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and our Plant Safety policies including proper documentation and reporting.
• Assist in all aspects of sanitation procedures and equipment maintenance to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety within the facility.
• Work in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Execute cleaning and sanitization of all production areas, equipment, utensils, and surfaces following established protocols.
• Effectively lead by example and work as a team of champions to achieve results.

SANITATION WORKER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions of Supervisory staff.
• High attention to detail and time management skills.
• Previous experience in a sanitation or janitorial role within the food manufacturing industry an asset.
• Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for extended periods of time, working in various temperature conditions, and heavy lifting up to 50lbs required.
• Familiarity with CFIA regulations and requirements relating to sanitation and food safety an asset.
