Bilingual Mortgage Operations Specialist - Toronto

Proven experience in project management and executing marketing campaigns

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Effectively manage a pipeline of mortgage files and ensure consistent and timely follow-up for active and potential clients

Work closely with the General Manager to successfully deliver against the retention roadmap and company level OKRs

3-5 years of experience in email marketing, e-commerce experience

Experience in re-engagement and retention strategies (customer acquisition is a plus!)

Previous experience working closely with ESP and SMS vendors (Klaviyo, Attentive, and/or Shopify is a plus!)

Working knowledge of HTML and/or SQL is a plus

Experience working with Creative to whip up customer centric creative concepts and copy for email and SMS marketing campaigns

The qualifications and experience we like to see:

Have 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years in email and marketing automation.

Extensive experience working with a top-tier Email Service Provider (ESP) including functionality, data integration/APIs, building dynamic content.

Understand how to think through the customer journey that surrounds the email experience.

Knowledge of email best practices.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with many different people.

Good time-management skills & ability to work on tight deadlines

Manage overall email marketing strategy and projects

5-10 years of past experience within retention marketing

Experience integrating with Shopify (building pop-ups, unique codes, etc)

HTML knowledge is a plus (to troubleshoot and test)

Knowledge of latest digital marketing trends and a constant learner attitude

Achieve and maintain monthly all targets and standards as set by management

Mortgage Collection or related legal administrative experience an asset

Working knowledge of Residential Default process, Mortgage Origination & Servicing process preferred

Responsible for all outbound and inbound contact from all clients and related parties in order to cure arrears

Review and action all assigned workflow to ensure that files are followed up on in a timely manner to remedy default

Maintain a best-in class relationship with clients, subsequent encumbrances, solicitors and brokers

Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web based meetings, social media, Digital Banking and Mobile Applications )

Previous experience as a mortgage lender

Strong knowledge of the mortgage origination business and home financing products

Verify, review, and track all requested documents in mortgage management software

Use documentation to perform functions, such as calculating verified income or verifying assets, and update mortgage management software accordingly

Maintain a focus on enhancing customer service skills and knowledge

Order all necessary documents to satisfy AUS findings, investor and agency requirements

Ensure KPI’s are met as set forth by the processing manager

Review and confirm program eligibility as submitted, assist lender with necessary updates or changes

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities

Project Management and forecasting experience

Perform day-to-day email/direct to customer campaign management including importing data and setting up, testing, and deploying campaigns

Manage and resolve any customer service inquires with regards to direct to customer campaigns and offers.

Develop targeted, personalized, and relevant customer communications along with offer strategies to deliver against customer retention objectives.

At least 3 years experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM

2-5 years marketing experience focusing on promotional planning, strategy, and execution

3+ years of experience in student advising/student centered role or a related career in post-secondary education.

Knowledge of PeopleSoft would be an asset
