Maintain comprehensive and precise maintenance records and utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMM’s).

Notify the Maintenance Manager about deviations from standards or any irregularities.

Proficient in applied mathematics, mechanical understanding, and fundamental electrical knowledge.

Preferably holding certifications for Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, and other lift vehicles.

Interpretation of blueprints, schematic diagrams, and drawings to formulate appropriate work processes.

Diagnose mechanical equipment failures, perform troubleshooting, and implement corrective measures.

Great pay $44-46/hr dependent on experience

Straight day shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Receive instructions relative to priority needs and requirements

Communicate fabricated part requirements to engineering and toolroom using basic sketches

Knowledge of welding principles is an asset

Salary: $42 based on experience

General working knowledge of: Automation, Motor and burner controls and Energy Management Systems

Significant knowledge relating to pneumatic and hydraulic systems

General knowledge of servo motors and motion control systems

General measurement and mathematical skills

Knowledge of industrial pipe fitting

Basic knowledge of PLC Systems

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to all levels of team members and management

2+ years' work experience in a manufacturing facility as an Industrial Millwright

Experience with rigging and hoisting and fall arrest

Certified millwright (License 433A required)

Ability to adapt quickly to changes, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision

Forklift certified operation, and arial platform certified

Documenting your work using a Maintenance Management software

Previous experience with bearings, shafts, gearboxes, overhauling equipment

Successfully pass a General Qualifications/Abilities Test.

Experienced in grinding and torch cutting steel and other materials.

Have full working knowledge of tools of the trade used to maintain and repair equipment and machinery.

All WTC quality, safety, production and environmental rules, standards and regulations must be followed while performing the job duties.

Perform other tasks as the need arises and/or as the job changes as assigned by the Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager.

The applicant must meet the following qualifications:

Have basic working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Must hold a valid Ontario License Certificate of Qualification issued by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.

Perform all duties as outlined by the Provincial Government in accordance with Regulated Trade 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright.

Possess all hand tools that are common to the trade.

Able to read, interpret and use micrometers, verniers, etc.

Familiar with the basic operations of machine tools, lathes, mills, grinder drills, etc.

12 credits of UBC undergraduate courses (transferable to your eligible dependent spouse or child); or

UBC Extended Learning and approved Sauder School of Business Continuing Business Studies non-credit courses (the dollar equivalent of 12 undergraduate credits).

Have worked for a qualifying period of three months and

Welding experience is an asset.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance activities to maintain all primary and support production equipment to produce quality products.

Support all predictive and preventive maintenance programs

Troubleshoot robotic welding cells, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, valves, cylinders, conveyance systems, gear boxes and pump.

Working with (lathe & milling machines), welding (ARC, TIG, MIG), and pneumatic & hydraulic fields is required.
