Five years of experience in event planning or management.

Management of all booth properties and convention assets.

Manage large event budgets efficiently and effectively.

Manage suppliers and partners for space arrangement, marketing collateral, hotels, equipment rental, and exhibit set-up and dismantling.

Supervision of third-party contractors for a positive customer experience.

Proven experience in managing large-scale trade shows or exhibitions.

Partner directly with our moderators, communities, and internal stakeholders to bring delightful experiences to life

Evolve our approach as needed by developing new moderator events/experiences

7+ years experience running global consumer-facing event programs (both virtual and in-person)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail: ability to organize a large volume of information and tasks and manage projects with little oversight

Possessing exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) when dealing with lawyers, clients, staff and third parties

Demonstrating strong research, investigative and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise judgement to resolve issues

Manage timelines and budgets for events and help maximize sponsorships

5-7 years of event planning experience in a professional services firm (legal, accounting, consulting) or corporate environment

Exceptional organizational, project management and time management capabilities with a strong attention to detail

Keeps informed regarding partner’s personal changes, product development, renovations, changes in management

Strong knowledge/understanding of the tourism and hospitality industry

Strong knowledge/understanding of marketing principles, including social media and digital marketing

Prior experience in destination marketing organization is an asset

Prior experience with SimpleView or other CRM program an asset

Strong time management skills with an ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines

Provide coordination, project management, planning documents and reports to measure performance and ensure event and marketing promotion success

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field such as event management, communications, marketing, or similar

Up to 2 years of experience in event planning/coordinating, marketing and communications or other relevant experience

Experience with the restaurant / hospitality industry is considered an asset

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences

Event management experience is a must

Team player, positive attitude, strong verbal, and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills

2-3 years of relevant experience in an event communications or event planning department

Experience in managing events in B2B environments a must
