The Development Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:

·Prepare management presentations on project opportunities, development status and project economics

·Manage internal approvals and conduct Management Briefings weekly

·Manage interconnection studies and discussions with Provincial authorities and utilities

·Create and manage project budgets and implement and manage payment schedules

Community outreach and other stakeholder management activities

·Developing, implementing, and updating project management tools

P.Eng certification desired, but not required.

6+ years related experience in the thermal energy field

Experience in the planning, development and management of international education projects

An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements

Knowledge of the education sector in target markets including providers, academic issues, market trends, regulatory environment and networks of contacts

Experience with academic and business strategies of international education particularly in key markets is required

8+ years of direct experience in hydrogen and/or renewable project development or construction.

5+ years experience as a Development Project Manager in the residential industry (High-rise, mid-rise)

Show competence with various Project Management software programs and MS Office products

Knowledge of construction terms, processes and methods

Ensure that solutions offered and delivered reflect the needs of private sector, municipal, provincial, and federal clients.

Manage project progress reports to multiple stakeholders including Amico Executive Management, Partners, Financers, Customers, Municipalities, Stakeholder groups

Technical knowledge gained through a degree or diploma in Planning, Construction Management, Building Sciences, Engineering, and/or Architecture

Manage project financing, including developing pro forma statements, considering real estate financing options, managing banking and other finances etc.

Manage and oversee joint venture and partner developers throughout the process

Structure and close complex mixed-finance deals with multiple lenders including managing the due diligence process

Manage construction bidding/pricing process for inclusion in the final project budget required for all closings
