Experience with Wastewater Treatment processes an asset

Maintain RPRA waste registrations (formerly HWIN) and coordinate/schedule the shipment of registerable/hazardous waste.

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science and/or environmental management from reputable and recognized university is preferred.

Advise project managers of potential environmental risks and impacts associated with specific field activities.

Identify Legal and other requirements applicable to the projects. Maintain a list of those requirements.

Post-secondary degree (or equivalent education and experience) in social or biomedical sciences or related public health/health administration field

Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated relevant experience in project coordination and/or administrative support

Strong communications skills and ability to adjust communications for various audiences

Previous work or volunteering experience within the HIV and/or health sector preferred

Previous work or volunteering experience in clinical settings preferred

Coordinate OCN surveys and collate and analyze data to produce reports.

Have fifteen (15) or more years of experience in Environmental Management.

Assess and identify gaps under environmental management systems and performance tracking processes and propose mitigation and optimization measures.

Carry out or coordinate workshops and awareness sessions on new requirements or updates in systems and processes.

Preferred experience in the oil & gas industry.

Liaise between internal business line and support organizations on all environmental matters.

Track and maintain an updated list of internal organizations' compliance gaps.

Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Business, International Relations, Marketing, Higher Education, Project Management, Business Administration, Student Services or related field

Facilitates pre-departure, while abroad, and re-entry workshops for students to ensure travel safety and risk management

Analyze quantitative and qualitative data on student mobility, programming, and international partnership development to present to the Manager and academic faculties

Monitor and evaluate education abroad support services for relevance, timelines, and effectiveness to maximize engagement and student success in mobility opportunities

Support students in developing, identifying, and articulating essential employability skills

Review finalized Learning Agreements and manager completion, sign-off, sharing, storage, etc.

Experienced in project management best practices for project tracking and cost-accounting needs, able to produce up-to-date status reports as required

Proven abilities in coordination, maintaining project and document controls, data management, and submitting project reports

Assist with project scheduling and ongoing management of the schedule

Contribute to proposal writing, data/records management, and mandatory reporting

Certificate/diploma in business administration or project management would be an asset

Experience with Environmental Management System- ISO14001:

Provide support to management of environmental incidents (exceedances or spills) and as required to non-compliances.

Site inspection/audits and verify environmental compliance to the authorizations and permits and report any deficiencies to Manager.

Administrative tasks such as getting quotes, preparing requisitions relating to environment to support Manager.

You have 1+ of environmental experience.

You have the ability to organize, plan and prioritize work requirements effectively.

Knowledge of strategic planning, business improvement techniques, change management, and business intelligence, usually accompanied by Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Supports environmental management (e.g., planning, assessment, permitting, and/or compliance monitoring) and regulatory processes.

Coordinates owner led environmental studies and provides environmental input into project management and reporting processes.

Reviews environmental submissions against the requirements of the Project Agreement to identify non-compliance.

Prepares permit applications and tracks approvals, amendments, and compliance with environmental requirements.

Manages timelines, project status reports, and budgets.

Develop and implement environmental compliance management systems to monitor and enhance environmental performance

Comprehensive knowledge of British Columbia and Canadian environmental regulatory and permitting requirements

Develop and manage environmental and social systems and practices to promote sustainable operations

Possess a post-secondary degree specializing in a related technical environmental discipline or equivalent experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders

Coordinate the execution of the environmental assessment process, ensuring efficient and timely completion

Experience with project management and managing external contractors or consultants

Experience with industrial wastewater treatment and waste management systems

Strong oral and written communication abilities, including technical writing, data management and analysis, budget preparation and presentations.

Evaluate the current system performance and incorporate innovations or new technologies to enhance the mill’s environmental management system.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 14001 Quality and Environmental Management Systems and with Federal and Provincial legislation/regulations

Ensure government reporting requirements are met.
