Review MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Report daily and generate purchase orders to meet production needs

Improve inventory turns, manage and keep all inventories current and up to date

Minimum of five years experience, preferably supporting industrial plant requirements

Support each facility's purchasing requirements through:

Daily interaction with plants to assess and respond to urgent requirements

Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Strategic Vendor sourcing experience is an asset

Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into category performance, trends, and future opportunities.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Ensure the creation of visually appealing displays and product presentations that highlight the luxury and exclusivity of our beauty offerings.

3-5 years of experience in retail buying, preferably within the luxury beauty or fashion sector.

A genuine passion for and strong knowledge of: beauty products, trends, self-care and brands.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to make informed decisions.

You solicit feedback from peers, management, and consumers.

Works cross-functionally with Planner, Allocator and Visual Merchandiser to set assortment, implement strategy, manage open to buy and place re-orders.

In partnership with the Planner, manages sell-through, markdowns, and exit channels for all product within the portfolio.

4+ years of experience as a Buyer or Merchant in a multi-brand retailer.

2+ years of experience in retail sales.

Experience opening new stores is preferred.

Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Retail Management, or equivalent experience

Manage open-to-buy to maximize business opportunities and inventory control

Manage inventory; make timely profitability decisions; review existing inventory performance indicators and react quickly to change in demand, logistics and trends

3-5 years proven Buying experience, preferably in luxury retail

Sound knowledge of purchasing principles and practices / Retail Math

Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done

Specialized skills, knowledge or certifications unique to this role

Manage all aspects of the electronics function from the budgeting process, to HR, capex, device electronics, and final delivery

Lead design solutions to meet product specifications and functional requirements

Providing practical production experience, such as material costs, supplier information, and manufacturing difficulties

5 years of electronics or mechatronics engineering experience

Proven experience in managing electronics functions, preferably in a product development or manufacturing environment

• Proven retail Buyer experience with a minimum of 3-5 years experience

• Previous Buying experience within the Retail industry is an asset

The Buyer will own the growth and development of a specific category, including:

• Owning the aggressive revenue, margin, and SKU count targets for your categories

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and advanced experience with purchasing software such as Shopify Plus-Stocky.

Travel to attend trade shows and discover new products and suppliers that offer unique and one-of-a-kind items for ROM.

Manage inventory levels to meet shopper buying volumes and ensure that the museum's retail operations run smoothly.

7–10 years progressive experience and well versed in brand/category management, procurement, contract negotiation and vendor management within the retail industry.

Strong organizational, project leadership, and time management skills.

Manage assortments, inventory, and finances for each vendor.

3 - 5 years’ managerial experience.

Use internal communication app (Nudge) where possible to inform staff of new products/offers

Collaborate with Inventory Planner to implement and manage supply chain initiatives to optimize performance metrics.

Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Materials Management, Business Administration or related experience would be considered an asset.

Certificate in purchasing from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada would be an asset Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Follow purchasing procedures to purchase materials and services to meet operational requirements while maintaining accuracy

Required to have strong negotiation, problem-solving & decision making skills

Proven experience to remain organized, and prioritize work effectively.

Research and analyze product and material selection

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Lightning) preferred but not required.

Knowledge in SAP is a bonus

Reviewing reports for stock outs

Assisting with stock rotations and inventory returns in conjunction with other parts of the business

Reviewing order points for inventory stock levels & purchase order placement for 5 western Locations; Transfer Inventory as required.

Evaluate procurement methods; replenishment levels and paths

Monitor the change in material cost (BOM value) and present to management on monthly basis

Experience in RFx and analyzing offers from the vendor
