Ecommerce Merch Operations Specialist Jobs

A minimum of 5 years of experience in eCommerce operations, logistics, supply chain management, or related field.

Manage all aspects of eCommerce operations, including logistics, supply chain management, inventory control, quality assurance, and process improvement.

Consistently monitor and address issues related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field.

Understanding of eCommerce platform technologies, order management, and inventory management systems.

Project management skills – planning, prioritizing, delegating, influencing, and tracking. Note that formal project management qualifications are not required.

Strong interpersonal/communication skills - both written and verbal; must be comfortable presenting to and leading discussions with senior management.

Support the adherence of assortment planning and meeting the high level KPIs established at the Senior Management level.

Refinement and integration of the Category Management Framework

Post-secondary university education, preferably in business

At least 3-5 years of experience in a retail organization with proven strategy development experience.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in social media management

Manage new product launches (e.g. adding listing to website and Amazon, optimizing SEO etc.)

Strong analytical and reporting skills including measuring the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI ).

Help build and execute a cohesive social media calendar to ensure daily on-brand content focusing on education, brand awareness, products, and promotions

Manage and build influencer and affiliate strategy including outreach, relationship building and tracking/reporting to drive sales.

At 2+ years experience with Shopify, WooCommerce and Amazon Seller Central (ASC) platforms

• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional project management and organizational skills.

• Super affiliate network vendor management.

• Manage order fulfillment for ecommerce channels.

• Manage the process of campaign maintenance and support.

• Manage end-to-end campaign execution, from campaign setup, branding research, landing page copywriting, and optimization.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in advertising/marketing organizations.

* Experience with enterprise-level project management platforms (Wrike, JIRA, Asana, etc.)

* As needed, use basic HTML/CSS skills to modify page templates

* 2-5 years of similar experience

* Intermediate to advanced skill in publishing through WordPress (or similar CMS, with WordPress very strongly preferred)

* Experience with basic image manipulation (cropping/resizing/file size optimization) through Photoshop or a similar platform

Position Type: Contract, 17 months (high potential for extension)

Through the use of analytics understand how the customer shops and adjust the offering and customer experience

Understand customer search and browse behaviour and tailor experience accordingly

Understand top search terms and highest visited areas of the category and implement tactics to provide proper customer experience

Influence content strategy and requirements

Web analytics experience (Google Analytics and Omniture)

3-5 years of ecommerce/digital experience preferred

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Amazon website, including product uploads, tagging, merchandising, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service.

Proficient on Amazon platform, including product listings, collections, and order management.

Plan, manage and execute E-commerce pricing strategies, markdowns and promotions.

Manage homepage updates within Amazon theme.

At least 2-3 years of experience in E-commerce with online user acquisition experience with both paid and organic channels.

Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.

Strong working knowledge of digital and customer experience methodologies

Collaborative team players with superior influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward

Post-secondary education or equivalent in Business or related discipline

Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Merchandising, eCommerce or Digital

Experience working on cross-functionally driven initiatives; the ability to build partnerships across teams

Collaborate with cross functional partners including Site Merchandising, Product Content, Data Governance and IT/Product Teams

Post Secondary education specializing in Business Analytics or Data Management OR 2-3 years experience with E-Commerce portals or advanced data entry.

A Critical thinker with strong communication, time management and organizational skills

Bilingual (French or Spanish) is not required but would be considered as an asset. Proven Skills, Abilities, and Attributes:

Flexible hours in either a fast-paced office environment (Edmonton, AB) or remotely work from home.

Developing an understanding of E-Commerce customer data requirements.

Perform general administrative duties. Requirements:

You have 3 years experience with supply chain management and order fulfillment

Manage and coordinate our inventory ordering and shipments, including coordination with our Customs Broker and manufacturers

Manage our manufacturers and supplier relationships

You are experienced with Shopify and Shipping Fulfillment Software (like Shipstation, Shipmonk or any other 3PL)

You have experience with inventory planning and forecasting

You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Experience with site design principles, content managements tools, functionality, and integration with backend systems.

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in eCommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Data Analysis, Business Administration, or equivalent years of combined education and experience.
