Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Operations Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our eCommerce operations focusing on process improvement. The successful candidate must have a strong background in eCommerce operations and logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of eCommerce operations, including logistics, supply chain management, inventory control, quality assurance, and process improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics service providers.
- Develop and implement shipping policies and procedures that ensure products are delivered on time, accurately, and efficiently.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures across all operations and supply chain processes.
- Analyze data from our eCommerce platform and related systems to identify trends, opportunities, and issues and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory control to ensure all products are in stock and available for purchase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer service, and IT to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery to customers.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve operational efficiencies, drive sales growth, and enhance the customer experience.
- Consistently monitor and address issues related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in eCommerce operations, logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Understanding of eCommerce platform technologies, order management, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with popular eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or similar.
