Job Description

Throat Threads Apparel is seeking an eCommerce Specialist to join our team based in Burlington, Ontario.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the eCommerce Specialist is a member of our marketing team and intrinsic to the company’s digital transformation goals.

Get in on the ground level of an exciting digital transformation!


Responsibilities:

Ecommerce Strategy and Management

  • Support the development of front-end changes and functionality of the sites to ensure a best-in-class experience.
  • Act as the eCommerce systems expert in collaboration with internal teams (Marketing, IT, Ops, Brand) and external partners to provide an efficient and seamless digital customer experience that aligns to corporate objectives.
  • Manage, optimize, and grow current dropship programs and platforms through process improvement and opportunity research.
  • Strategize and own business plans for current B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms, while continually seeking opportunities for expansion through these channels and others.
  • Continually optimize and recommend strategies to increase sales, AOV and decrease aged inventory based on sales and platform data.

Product Roadmaps and Key Messages

  • Create and execute seasonal key message calendars in collaboration with Marketing and Brand teams based on product launches, product sales trends, inventory depth and business objectives.
  • Manage and update website content blocks, hero images and brand pages while continually analyzing performance and seeking improvements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Brand teams to ensure seasonal messages are executed across all channels (Online and Offline).

General

  • Actively participate in creative idea generation.
  • Regularly update the company website to ensure current portfolio, services and positioning are always reflected.
  • Execute other duties as requested.This is a versatile role and adaptability will be the key to success.
  • Be an active contributor to the growth of the company’s digital infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of eCommerce experience.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Google AdWords, analytics, webmaster tools and ability to analyze web statistics and advertising ROI.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Amazon Seller Central experience considered an asset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in eCommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Data Analysis, Business Administration, or equivalent years of combined education and experience.
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Shopify platform experience required.
  • Ability to multi-task, while using good judgment in prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with site design principles, content managements tools, functionality, and integration with backend systems.
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook)
