Experience in strategic development, business development, project management, and client management is required.

10-15 years of project work experience in project management related to architecture and engineering.

Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and resourcefulness.

Assist the General Contractor with developing the qualification criteria and recommending subcontractors to bid and assist with the subcontractor RFP Process.

10+ years’ construction experience in a supervisory capacity

Formulate and present overview on project status, debrief and update senior management and stakeholders on all aspects of a project

Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering or Project Management

Expert level of design and construction industry knowledge and experience is essential.

Computer proficiency in Project Management software, Microsoft Office, Excel, and project scheduling tools.

Make site visits and retain outside resources when appropriate to manage the project, schedule, budget and quality of workmanship

Minimum 10 years experience of related retail/commercial and gas bar construction experience.

Develop and maintain the project master schedule using appropriate techniques and scheduling software with input from other project management personnel.

Prepare monthly cost projections using information generated from project management systems and prepare quarterly cash flow projections.

Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience and education in project or field engineering

Manage document control; receive and log in new issue drawings and other contract documents; maintain document control log.

Applied experience in project management, construction management, and construction processes, building code and safety codes.

At least 5 years’ experience in single and multi-family residential construction. Commercial construction experience is an asset.

Minimum 8+ years of construction or project management experience is essential for success in the role.

Leadership experience, over and above project management, and contractor/consultant management is required.

Improve and be accountable for the project vendor management process for all project related consultants and contractors

Manage and create project plans for assigned projects from design and concept stages through to construction and closeout, and finally decommissioning

Schedule work, manage and track all pending and active projects, forecasting as appropriate

Assisting with warehouse management and monthly inventory

Working with other project managers, warehouse managers and drivers to successfully complete projects

Proactive & direct communication skills

Strong organizational skills & attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple files at the same time

Successful completion of a Post-Secondary Education

Strong computer skills with experience using MS Office, Sharepoint, project management software at an advanced level is required

Post-secondary degree or diploma in architecture, interior design, engineering, or construction management or strong field experience is required

Experience in contract management, building codes, contract law and relevant legislation

Coordinate supply of manuals and as-built drawings to stores and property management/ maintenance teams

Maintain and update construction related documentation, estimation tools, spreadsheets, and project management checklists.

A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry is required

Excellent management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Negotiates and approves the selection of major contractors in collaboration with the upper management

Report performance indicators to Senior Management

Excellent team management and conflict resolution assets

Establish work methods in collaboration with the Site Manager and the Superintendent

Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC Construction or renewable energy projects

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (Master's preferred).

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports and presentations to customers, intercompany stakeholders, and management.

5+ years personnel leadership and management
