Central Taps + Food, a casual bar & eatery located in the heart of Calgary offering good food, good drinks and good trouble. The Opportunity:

We are looking for an organized and experienced individual who can help us achieve our vision. We want you to grow with us and enjoy coming to work each day. We are in search of an assertive Project Manager, an ambitious and independent leader, who loves planning, budgeting, and ensuring quality control in each project.

As an integral part of the Construction Department, you will be part of a team that coordinates with internal departments and subcontractors across Canada, ensuring project details are captured and executed seamlessly during the construction of new restaurants and renovation of existing restaurants under the CRAFT brand.

As a strong team leader, you are a detail-oriented individual, who fearlessly leads strategic pursuits, drives deadlines, communicates effectively, and takes pride in building and maintaining relationships.


About You:

● Versatile and able to manage multiple projects in various stages

● Motivated, organized, detail orientated and a multi-tasker

● Excellent communicator, both verbal and written

● Thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

● Effective leader and learner

You Will:

● Manage 2 new build restaurants and 2 renovations per year in various cities across Canada

● Rollout new CRAFT standards/upgrades and small-scale projects throughout existing restaurants

● Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipals, builders, makers, and suppliers

● Produce and maintain accurate tracking and reporting for each project

● Work closely with design team to value engineer projects while upholding CRAFT standards

● Travel to various CRAFT locations as necessary, during times of project planning & construction

● Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to planning, budgeting, scheduling, tracking, quality control and problem solving


Technical Skills:

● Microsoft Office inclusive of Excel, Project, Planner and SharePoint

● Thorough understanding of full set construction drawings and spec packages

● Experience with tracking and reporting on the financial status of a project

● Knowledgeable of various permit requirements & application processes

● General contracting and on-site experience an asset

● AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam Revu an asset


What You’ve Done:

● Post-secondary degree and/or diploma in a relatable field

● 3-5 years of project management, preferably of food & beverage tenant improvements

● Experienced producing and reviewing estimates and budgets

● Value engineering

● Contract negotiation

● Conflict and dispute resolution
